This series of small prints was created over a long period of time. Each image is something we see in life something that stops us, and reminds us the world is still here. The 10×15 cm format was chosen deliberately, to provoke intimacy. Each print exists solely as an object. Not as a file, not as a screen, but as something you can hold in your hands, keep it at a close distance. Japanese handmade washi paper is the central element of the work. Imperfect, with a lively texture, unique. No two sheets are alike. The material does not merely illustrate the image - it becomes part of it.
